Voci is made up of Sabrina O’Reilly and Bobby Harpur. Both hugely experienced performers they met and started performing with each other when they both led Route 66 Big Band. Since then they’ve been performing as Voci and have ‘seen the country’ performing at festivals, weddings, corporate gigs, parties and pubs and clubs.
Their attention to harmonisation is what really sets them apart. Their years rehearsing and performing with each other mean that their harmonies are practically glued together. The results speak for themselves. Their ability to draw crowds in to their set early in their show makes for a great night out!
“Between us we have performed at The Rose of Tralee Dome, Farmleigh and more than enough of the Theatres around the country with Route 66 Big Band, we have performed together in most counties at weddings and corporate functions as well as pubs and clubs and festivals.
“As well as all over Ireland, between us we have performed on RTE, in the UK, USA (IVACON Los Angeles and Las Vegas) and Europe (The World Television Awards, 2014). We are both professionally trained singers.
“Voci pride ourselves in never performing the same set list night after night. We constantly learn new (and old!) songs to add to our set and like to read the room as the night progresses. Our set covers a very broad mix of contemporary music all the way back to the 60s although on any given night we can provide a 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s dominant set in order to engage a particular crowd on the night either acoustically or with the aid of backing tracks. One thing we do not perform however is traditional Irish music or ballads, unless they’re 80s power ballads!!!”
